about Madeleine
Madeleine loves writing ever since she was 7 years old. She used to write a bunch of drafts on printer paper folded in half resembling a book. It was at 9 years old when she started writing her debut novel, Protector Stones. It took her a whole year to write this fantasy fiction and she published it at age 10. Afterwards, she decided to write a different genre - realistic fiction. She began spending the next year writing Behind the Spotlight which is a story based on her own competitive dancing experience. She published that at age 11.

After releasing her novels, she heard from her readers who shared how her books had motivated them to read more and even start writing their own stories. She soon realized she wanted to make an even greater impact. This led to her creating a literacy nonprofit, Mindful Reading, that can nurture the love of reading and writing in young children.
